Egyptian Electrical Cables (ELEC.CA) is a shareholding company founded in 1954. It is one of the largest diversified cables companies in Egypt, manufacturing diverse copper and aluminum cables. Through its 92-feddan facility located in the industrial zone of Mostorod, the company produces a spectrum of both power and telecommunication cables for local and foreign markets, namely in Africa and Europe.

In 2015, the company established a dedicated contracting division specialized in infrastructure and turnkey projects. It also acquired 100% of Giza Power, an 81,000 sq.m. cable manufacturing plant in Abu Rawash, boasting a production capacity of c.20,000 tons. Taking into consideration the company’s environmental awareness, all their production lines and facilities are environmentally sustainable and follow environmental regulations.

The company has always been progress-oriented and that’s why it has been actively ensuring that its production and testing facilities are up to standards with all the new technological advancements, and techniques. The company was established in 1984, over a total landscape of 81,745 m2 in the industrial sector of Abo Rawash Giza, Egypt, to produce different varieties of power cables under the name of (Giza Cables).

GPI is one of the best modern equipped factories in Egypt with a production range covering ranges from 1 KV up to 220 KV low, medium, high, and extra high voltage cables for two types of conductors (Aluminum & Copper). They perform different governmental, international, and private authorities audits in a scheduled time frame in order to maintain their manufacturing quality and standards in their ISO-certified factories.

It’s the market leader in manufacturing adhesive packaging material; producing self-adhesive tabs, corrugated carton boxes, and boards through its remarkable 18,000 sqm factory located in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt.
